As part of the Traditional Career Days and Environmental Festival organized by Marmara University Vocational School of Technical Sciences on 20–21 May 2026, various seminars and talks were held within the framework of this year’s theme, “Transforming Professions in a Changing World.”
As part of the event, a seminar entitled “Current Approaches to Building Automation Systems” was held on 20 May 2026, from 13:30 to 14:30. The seminar was delivered by Mr. Sacit Yücelen, Product Development Director at Optimus Solutions A.Ş.
During the seminar, participants were provided with comprehensive information on rapidly developing building automation technologies, smart building applications, energy efficiency, sustainability-oriented solutions, and current developments in the sector. The future of building automation systems, the competencies required in the industry, and career opportunities were also discussed.
The event attracted students from various programs of our Vocational School as well as academic staff. Students had the opportunity to hear directly about industry experience and gain insight into current practices in the field.
